Veterans' breakfast will be held at VFW Post after all

The free breakfast for veterans, active military, reservists, and their spouses will be held at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Murl Conner Post No. 1096 on Hopkins Street in Albany after all.

The breakfast had been moved to the Albany First Baptist Church because the VFW Post was going to be used for storage and distribution of washers and dryers for flood victims, but that decision has been reversed.

The breakfast will run from 8 to 10 a.m. and is open only to veterans, active military, reservists, and their spouses.

Hopkins Street runs from the Burkesville Road (KY 1590) to West Wood Street (which becomes the Old Burkesville Road).
